The Melbourne Cup

On Melbourne Cup Day I was able to escape the hospital to go to the Brisbane race course. My mother took me out where we were met by two security guards who escorted us to the members lounge where we had a great view of the races. I had never seen a horse race in person before so it was very exciting! I wore a fascinator from Myers, a short black backless playsuit also from Myers and my heels from WindsorSmith. My mother looked beautiful as always in hot pink. Although we didn't place any bets we had a great time! We even got our picture taken for the Sunday Mail. My favourite part was watching the Ted Baker fashions in the field show.
