An Afternoon Picnic

I had a nice end to Mothers Day at Mt Coot-ther eating too much cake and drinking warm tea. My family all came together for an afternoon picnic in the park. We started with just 2 cakes and somehow everyone brought more cake and we ended u with like 6 cakes! They were all delicious and with English Afternoon tea were so tasty. It was so nice to see everyone and although it was freezing I had a great time! Grandma even found pink peonies at the flower market this morning and surprised me with them! Peonies are my favourite and quite hard to come by this time of year so I was thrilled! I talked to my mum who is in Bundaberg multiple times throughout the day and gave her virtual hugs for mothers day.
