Indulge, think of all the ladies on Titanic who waved away dessert.
I am very excited for this blogpost as it is about something I am very passionate about, food, in particular my favourite cafe Indulge. There are cafes and then there is Indulge. It towers above all other cafes in Bundaberg and was even named Peoples Choice for best Cafe in Queensland. Bundaberg is so lucky to have the lovely Amanda and Larry who keep the place running. Amanda creates magic in the kitchen and Larry makes coffee and sweeties, like his famous macarons, to die for. Literally, you have not tasted a macaron till you have been to Indulge. Macarons are my thing and I have eaten many around the place from McDonalds to Laduree but nothing beats the ones from Indulge.
My best friends and I love eating when we are home. There's no other place to dine really.
I really miss visiting the cafe regularly as I am currently living in Brisbane for uni, but every time I go home I make sure I pay a visit. Whether its for breakfast, lunch or sweeties and coffee, Indulge will dazzle your tastebuds with amazing flavours and textures.
me in my natural habitat
You know you are always getting the freshest local seasonal produce of great quality.
A few of my favourites from the seasonal menus are the brioche french toasts for breakfast, for lunch Pumpkin pizza, Burgers or toasties with the delicious sweet potato chips and aioli and for morning tea either macarons or caramel crumble cake with a latte or if your feeling extra indulgent the crunchy peanut butter and salted caramel thick shake. But really can can't go wrong, everything on the menu is very exciting to devour.
I can't recommend them enough.
So next time your passing through the town of rum and sugar, drop in and indulge in this little gem of a place.
Love Chels xx
